Hydrotechnical construction - POOLS AND HYDROLOGICAL FACILITIES

Hydro-technical construction is a branch of the civil engineering, including any of the following:

  • Dam walls
  • The main functions of dams are irrigation and water supply.
  • Construction of dam walls;

Dam walls are built on the river-bed in order to block the path of the water and form an artificial lake. Construction of an artificial weir requires considering a number of specifics. Engineers need to take into account many factors, such as:

  •     water permeability of rocks and soil;
  •     seismic base;
  •     maximum water flows;
  •     siltation of the dam;
  •     impact on fisheries, forests and wildlife;
  •     impact on settlements;
  •     removal of buildings and toxic materials from the future dam’s area;

Water treatment plants;

EIS - Construction Company Ltd. engages in construction and installation of water treatment plants and systems, as well as their commissioning. We propose to our clients the best solutions according to project needs – from water recycling systems (which are used best in car washes, for example), through rainwater collection for household and irrigation purposes, to the establishment of large-scale facilities.

The wastewater treatment plants we build are suitable for either household or industrial purposes.

Strengthening of river banks, sea shores and landslides.

As a result of various natural and climate phenomena large land masses lose their integrity and form landslides. Luckily, landslides are not sudden, meaning that they can be foreseen and prevented by technical means.

Similarly, the river beds and sea shores affected by water floods can be fixed.

Adjustment of river flows;

Drainage systems and adjustment of river flows are made so as to deviate or redirect the water course that is likely to affect any property or can somehow be a threat. There are different ways of draining or deviation through concrete slabs.
